ABAA exhibited at the USACE Conference - High Performance Building Envelope Workshop in San Antonio on March 6-8, 2012
ABAA provided a webinar on March 14, 2012 to the Mason Contractors Association of America. The webinar cover ABAA's presentation "Introduction to Air Barriers". An additional webinar will be held in May, 2012
ABAA also participated in the Affordable Comfort conference in Baltimore on March 26 - 29, 2012 where air barriers were a common topic.
On March 30, ABAA presented at the New York State Green Building Conference in Syracuse, NY on Green Building for Commercial Construction: Air Barriers - Building Science Equals Energy Efficiency. There were 305 that attended the conference.
ABAA exhibited at Best 3 Conference: High Performance Buildings - Combining Field Experience with Innovation during April 2-4, 2012 in Atlanta, Georgia. This conference was aimed at addressing the urgent need for advancements in the energy efficiency of buildings, as well as the building's durability as affected by moisture and the indoor environment. There were 400 attendees.
ABAA participate in the ASTM E06 meeting in Phoenix AZ on April 16 & 17, 2012. There are a number of standards that are being developed for the air barrier industry.
ABAA participated in the International Masonry Institute (IMI) Air Barrier Symposium April 25, 2012 in Addison, IL as an exhibitor as well as a moderator during the Panel Discussion. The goal audience for this symposium was architects, engineers, owners, developers, contractors (GC's & BAC-signatories), and code officials. Over 220 design professionals attended.
