The Alchemy of Architecture
October 14, 2021 @ 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM EDT
Live webinar sponsored by the Air Barrier Association of America
While we ALL know that the world revolves around Architecture, ALL of the products used to build things are made up of chemicals. As a Chemist, with over 42 years of experience helping non-chemist understand how chemistry influences things that happen in Construction, I am here to help.
- First and foremost, whatever you want to talk about. The most important part of this discussion is what is important to you.
- Available products on the market (often of vastly different chemistries) are changing (new ones being added, very few going away!!) at an incredible rate. How do you keep up? Let’s talk about it
- Compatibility – what does that mean? Adhesion? No, it means do two of more materials (often of different chemistries) “peacefully get along”? Or do they eat each other?
- Does sequence matter? Yes, it does. Some things are meant to happen first (love, then marriage?), so we’ll have some examples and discussion about that.
